Hello,

Im currently looking around for a new board system and have some questions about vB.

I run a small german roleplaying site with around 50 boards. I dont want to create single forums for every game, I want all games and all boards in one database (so the users have a little "community" feeling and can message with the other users).

But 50+ Boards in a single table is too much. My old board is splitted into single categories (every game is a category). Is it possible to show a list of all categories instead a list of all boards per default?

And if yes, is it also possible for for the user to overwrite this default? So he can choose if he wants the full board display or only a category display (like wwwthreads does)?

My second question is about the language... Are all texts/templates stored in the database so I can change the language to my own need? I checked the vB lite and the admin demo, but this all old versions.

Ah, and my last question. Is there hope you support threading sometimes? :o)

No

For the most part, yes. There are very few (if any) hard coded in.

It's a possibility in the future, but the demand is so low that I don't think it's a high priority.
