I was wondering...how can I get rid of the “moderator” column on my boards index page? Also, is it in anyway possible that I can add a background image to the category strip and the table heading strip?

1. Yes, in your VB Options go to Forum Listings Display Options and choose not to display the moderator column.

2. In your styles Manager, go to All Styles Options and then set Category Strips Background to something like I have it (you will need your own gradients or images etc-)
