I like.. but I think there's too much space between category title and content.. Maybe that orange and white strip is too much, consider removing the top white strip? So its Category > Orange strip > Forum | Last Poster | Etc..

It looks practically the same to me. You have a line above your "What's going on" table too. One thing I do like are your buttons. Have you tried using a non-pixel font?
