If i were to purchase a leased license, would it be possible to upgrade it to owned license down the road?

If i were to purchase a leased license, would it be possible to upgrade it to owned license down the road?
You have to do this within 30 days of purchase otherwise you will have to pay the full price for an owned licence.

Note: The 30 day upgrade to owned costs $85. After the 30 days it's full price.
