It's not really a pre-sales question as I already own it but I didn't know what other forum this could be in, feel free to move. ;)
vB 2.3.3
A client of mine wants to use the Private Calendar feature of the Calendar to hold very confidential information, how secure is the Calendar at keeping information entered secure??

Chris

It's as secure as his password on the forums and on the server. Any one with access to his account or the database will be able to see anything they want.

So, on average 99% safe? :)

I don't know how you can put an average on this.

...
Ok, aside from the fact that the person who has access to the database and going on the assumption that no one is going to use the persons computer to use the account and that he/she doesn't know the password. Is there any way this information can be accessed by people who shouldn't be viewing it? Is there any exploit that will defeat the protection.
It's a fairly simple question!

Hmmm..I don't know how much simpler I can make it. To view this info someone would need to have access to an admin account or another account in a user group with access to this calendar. Or they would need access to the database on the server.
There are no known exploits in the latest versions of vB, but that doesn't mean some won't be found. Also this info is only as secure as the security on the server - and to my knowledge no server connected to the Internet is 100% secure.
