Hi everyone. I am wondering, in vB (I want to use the 3), is there a way to have a "Junior Admin" type thing and have one of my moderators have more power over the users, like as in user modification, mainly custom user titles, but not core important modification oppurtunities?
Thanks

Thanks, I had one more inquiry regarding vBulletin 3 Gamma.
Can someone post a screenshot to the admin control panel, since I cannot get a demo (of vB3).
Also, how hard is it to upgrade to the gamma? I do phpBB mods alot, and am considering getting vB 2 so it will import from phpBB, and then upgrading to Gamma. I saw a thread on it, but how long does it take, and how hard is it?
Thanks

i belive thos are from beta 3~
upgrading to gamma (From beta 7) wasnt bad, i havent personally converted any 2.x boards to gamma, however i have a 2.2.9 to 3.0.0 beta 5 the upgrade went smooth, the only thing that takes a while is rebuilding the search index and updating some counters

Okay, You mentioned all of those controllable variables so a Junior Admin cannot access things I do not want him to.
How would I modify those? I've created a Junior Admin group on the demo forum, and in the group permissions it doesnt say anything about those options you mentioned. Basically, I want the Junior Admin to be able to have all moderator functions for THEIR FORUMS only, and be able to give users custom titles and ban users, but not delete accounts.
Also, are there rank images in vBulletin? In the admin demo I do not see them.
Thanks

There is no vB3 'demo forum'. Where are you doing this?

Yes, in the vB 2 demo forum.
And one more question, can I disable the user email confirm upon registration, I find it very annoying, and most of my users do not want to do it.
Thanks

In vB 3 is it possible to show avatars by posts? I would really miss that feature, and am I missing something regarding my AIM/Yahoo information shoing up.
I view my profile and even though I have entered it it does not show up there or by my posts. (this is here on the vB Community Forums)
Thanks

Yes, that too is possible using the user promotions system and alternate usergroups.

In vB 3 only, or in 2 as well?
Also, is all those admin permissions I was asking about only available in vB3?
What's the ETA on vB 3 final, or is Gamma stable enough?

In vB3 only. Gamma is stable - after all we are running it here. However it does have some bugs. Check the announcements forum for the latest status updates.

No problems with adding my email address to the support forums, but I am having some problems converting from my phpBB (see my post (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89259) in Installation Help).
Thanks In Advance
