I figger as long as the board is in it's infancy, might as well try to get as much in as possible.

A profile field that would be really nice to have in the natvie (besides gender) would be Date of Birth.

This could be used for the COPPA crap, but also for other, nicer purposes.

If I had a list of all my people's Birthdays, I could easily start Birthday topics for them, send out Birthday, etc.

I know this isn't a pressing need, but it's one of those nice things to have that would make people more loyal to a person's forum.

It might not be bad to throw it in under the privacy thing in the profile.

If a person wanted it to be viewable in their profile, it could be, otherwise not.

You could make the date public and the year private. Mine is Oct 20th, so you can send me a card, but that doesn't reveal my age. :)
