Hello Jelsoft,

We have M. Blue with a valid license (we say number 122333) and using www.mister-blue-website.com (http://www.mister-blue-website.com/).
We have M. Green with a valid license (we say number 444556) and using www.mister-green-website.com (http://www.mister-green-website.com/).

So on this page, http://www.vbulletin.com/members/license.php?action=edit&lnumber=122333, M. Blue has put the URL www.mister-blue-website.com (http://www.mister-blue-website.com/).
And on this page, http://www.vbulletin.com/members/license.php?action=edit&lnumber=444556, M. Green has put the URL www.mister-green-website.com (http://www.mister-green-website.com/).

Now, M. Green is helping M. Blue for the installation process : M. Green upgrades M. Blue's server to the latest release of vBulletin. But to do so, M. Green has used his own downloaded files from the member's area.

The result is : files with license number 444556 were used twice, one time for www.mister-green-website.com (http://www.mister-green-website.com/) and one time for www.mister-blue-website.com (http://www.mister-blue-website.com/).

The question is : is it enough if M. Blue and M. Green submit their respective websites in the member's area, but if the files used to upgrade M. Blue's boards are those from M. Green ?

Or does M. Blue must download the files himself and reupgrade his forum ?

This is all about vB3.
Thank you. :)

Each site must use their own unique installation of files. Each site has their own key setup I believe.
