Hi guys,
Sorry to bother you with yet another upgrade problem but this is one i'm getting on NT 4.

When running upgrade.php I get this message:

upgrade.php exists. If you have already upgraded fully, please delete it. Otherwise, run it now.

When I run it again it displays the same message and when I open my board I get this message:

Warning: Failed to Connect in admin/db_mysql.php on line 139

I'm running NT 4 with SP 6a, PHP 4 and MySQL 3.22.34

Any ideas?

Hmm, I think the old ZIP file had this problem?

I'm assuming you get this after you have already upgraded?

Have you tried deleting or renaming the upgrade.php file after you upgrade? I'm on NT and I haven't had this problem.

Hey, that sounds just like the message I got tonight when I tried to run the upgrade..
I hadn't logged into the forums yet, so when I tried to run the upgrade it ran a check to see if I was logged in as admin, then provided the login screen, but login failed every time because upgrade.php was present...
I fixed the problem by renaming upgrade.php, logging in, and then restoring upgrade.php file. After I did that I was able to successfully start upgrade.php, but unfortunately it didn't finish successfully so I've got more work to do :(

Hope this helps.

Oh well,
I simply downloaded the new zip file (not the upgrade) and reinstalled vBulletin. It's running fine now, so i think i'll steer clear of the upgrades for a while and simply install the full new version.
