An Idiosyncracy with the Upgrade Installation

All of our current announcements went *poof*. They're still editable in the control panel, but nothing I do to them will let them show in the forum. I've had to copy the messages, delete them, and make a new message with the old info.

The turning email off function is great and serves our purpose exactly, except I'd like for the admins and mods to be able to override this option. Guess I should hike over to suggestions for that one, though. :D

So I take it that your upgrade went ok other than that?

Thank you for posting that about the announcements, because we did notice that as well, but I forgot to mention it :)

Yep...went pretty much flawlessly. :) Only problem was that I couldn't turn the board off while I did it, so we had 2 registrations in the middle of the upgrade (2 in less than 10 minutes!) that were screwy. I had to go in the control panel and manually fix them. Other than that, we're zooming along like the upgrade never happened. :)(other than the fact that a few bugs got fixed and we have a memberlist, that is<G>)
