Only criticism is your bad font usage. The header bg is nice. It only needs a nice font with some simple effects. Perhaps a smoothened bevel and an outer glow with a nice chrome effect on it.

I'd lower the height of the nav and again change the font on the navigation too :)

no, my old OS X style is like that :p

it's all Impact font. i haven't gone looking for any custom fonts yet.
