I am planning on implementing vBulletin on an existing webserver. Can someone please verify that vBulletin does in fact work with Sun One Webserver?
Some system information (note I haven't actually installed this yet, trying to make sure that someone else has used this configuration before I commit to it).
Hardware: 2x 1Ghz UltraSparc III CPU with 2GB RAM. 4X73GB SCSI Harddrives.
OS: Solaris 2.9 (64bit)
Webserver: Sun One (IPlanet/Netscape whatever you want to call it today) 6.1.0
MySQL 4.0.14
PHP 4.3.3
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

cerevent, it should work, however we did have one Sun/Netscape enterprise server vB owner having problems with their PHP version and some of the vB admin related files
i recommend Apache 1.3.28/Linux combination for best operation

Thanks for the advice... hopefully I can get it to work. Problem is, that it is an existing webserver, so not likely to be changed.
So far it seems to be working, everything except anything that references user.php. add/modify users just gives action cancelled or page not found error... from the forums clicking log out also fails... so if you know of any solutions to that let me know, since I can't post on the troubleshooting page yet.

as you probably read in hsiaok's thread, there doesn't seem to be an easy solution.. best would be to use Sun server with apache or linux/apache
