All dates are wrong

Have just updated to version 1.1.2, it has reset all my member registered dates (not too bothered)

But a major problem is that in showthread it shows all the dates as January 1st, 1970 00:00, what gives? This looks extremely rediculous especially as I am trying to attract new members.

All the posts show the same date and time yet looking at the datebase the dates and times do have different values, what is going on?

Is is safe to downgrade back to 1.1.1 while this problem gets sorted, I'm really tearing my hair out here, had misgivings about how the upgrade would go and seems they were well founded :(

PS I just posted a test topic and looked at the database table and it shows date as 2000 whereas other dates are more like 955913520 ARGH!!!

The 955913520 format is correct. You should not downgrade back to 1.1.1 as the databases are incompatible.

Now the reason for your date problem seems to be that the upgrade did not complete itself. Did step 2 complete correctly, and did you finish all the other steps to the upgrade?

Did another full upgrade again from the start and the problem has gone away. Hmm, wierd.
