What version of PHP?

I as well as attachement troubles (see other threads) am having trouble with my webspace provider as they seem to have issues they can not solve on their Linux servers, so they have offered me the chance to move to a windows server which is running perfectly, it will use the same database as I have now however the PHP versions are not the same.

Linux runs 4.1.2 and Windows runs 4.3.2

Will VB beta 5 run on the windows version of PHP? and can anyone tell me is there will be any other problems with a move of this nature?

vB will run on either version. Usually I'd prefer the newer version of of PHP but I don't know if I could stomach a Windows server.

I am left with no choice, my prime time is form about 3pm to 3am Uk time and the site is never up on the Linux server for more than an hour or so at a time, I have a 1Mb connection to the web and I can wait upto 10 minutes for a post to go through so god knows what a 56k is suffering, they admit to serious problems with them and can not tell me when or even if they will be resolved. One question I must ask as you helpped me will the move cause problems with my attstore folder?

Since they are moving from one server to another it's possible something may go wrong. If you make sure the attstore folder is world-writable and executable on the new server you should be okay.
