P3 or P4

Well, I heard a P3 is better than a P4 for servers.. Is that true?

With the improvements to the P4 over the years and its higher clock speeds. Not unless they are at the same clock speed.

The P4 desktop processors only have a 512k cache on them so it depends what the cache is on the P3.
