Hi all,

I have purchased some webspace: My Hosting plan is :-

50gb /month
1gb webspace
4gb ram
dual xeon 4ghz.

This is a shared server, but i was wondering how much of the webspace/bandwidth i would be using per month, within the first few months. I know that it is quite hard to predict. The amount of users i am expecting to see is around 20-40people online at once (if i'm lucky:)).

Regards,
Kevin

Kevin if that is all your going to expect you have more then enough.. We host a similar site that has around 30 to 40 online members tops and they average around 11 gig of bandwidth a month. Really depends on users, page views and graphics on the pages.

You have enough to host 40 or more sites with those stats. I am wondering though.. What data center does dual XEON at 4GHz? I didn't think they came that high...

I think I know which hosting provider you are talking about. I'm just wondering if you are happy with their service and the quality of their hosting.

I'm more than happy with their service, their custumer support is excellent. As for quality of their hosting i couldn't really answer due to only setting my site up within the last month, so i haven't had time to judge the quality. Time will tell :)

There's no 4GHz processors out yet, it must be a Dual 2.0Ghz :).
