MySQL 3.23.56 or MySQL 4.0.14?

Which version should I choose? Is there a changelog between both?

i'd personally choose 4.0.14 as i have had no problems on 2 servers and on several vb clients servers i've looked into

but some do have problems with 4.0.14 with reoccuring corruption but i've never experienced it myself

i'd choose 4.0.14 for a new server and see if that works.. then downgrade to 3.23.57 if it doesn't

Is vBulletin optimized to take advantage of some of the new features (ie, fulltext searches) offered by MySQL 4? Would an upgrade from MySQL 3 to MySQL 4 offer any significant speed advantages?

I understand that this might be a matter for another forum, but is vBulletin v3 optimized for MySQL 4?
