Ok folks.
I have been messing with vb3b7 for a few minutes.
I got 3 of my styles converted over.
What a pain in the arse!
You can switch between them with the style drop down at the top.

The links in the replys below no longer work.

All of them look good aside from the last one, that one I don't like.
You have WAY WAY WAY too many forums for a site with your userbase.

Ok folks.
And the links are. . . .(drum roll). . . .
Light: Default Skin
http://www.cghelp.com/forum/index.php?s=&styleid=1
Mechanic - green. Pretty cool I think.
http://www.cghelp.com/forum/index.php?s=&styleid=10
Aqua: I am working on this one now.
http://www.cghelp.com/forum/index.php?s=&styleid=18
Dark: No images(loads fast), dark crappy color scheme. No one likes it.
http://www.cghelp.com/forum/index.php?s=&styleid=2
I like them all (but the last one is the same as the first?). My favorite is the green one. On my resolution, 1024x768, the header on the Light, and Aqua skins is quite a bit larger than the forum tables. Try fixing that one.
And like Dalius said, reduce the amount of forums you have until adding one becomes necessary, this also gives the illusion your forum is busy and people will post ;)

Thanks guys, the site is brand new!
If I lowered the forums to match my user base
I might as well shut the site down.
I do agree that it would give an illusion
that the site is busier. (Good advice)
Funny, 90 views and so few replys!

i like them but the green one is great, i just have one little thing that didnt look right to me.
the header buttons on the gren one look like an after thought and have just been stuck there, they dont seem to blend in at all.
mind you this is coming from a bloke as artisticly talented as a dead ant on smack so you might want to get more opinions before you change it :)

looks nice...but some of your main forums should be subforums...there are to many main forums.

I noticed you have no copyright info...I'm assuming you have paid for the removal. But if ya didn't, you might wanna add the copyright info back.

Don't go there...I tried that ;)
He did pay for it to be removed. See http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=80241

I wasn't "going" anywhere. And what exactly did you try to do? Cause I was just trying to help someone get in stay out of trouble if they indeed messed up.

It was the fact that he was the one who finally pissed me off.
I had been bombarded by people assuming
that I had removed it on purpose and threatening to turn
me in. I am sick and tired of it.
I just try to ignore it all now.

Yeah, that's probably the best bet. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything, and I have to either assume it was an oversight/misunderstanding or that you paid to have it removed.

I tried to help him too. I told him that he should have the copyright there, not realizing there is an option (at the time) to get rid of it, and that alot of people were taking advantage of it. Anyways...read the thread if you want to see the rest, it got a little more involved than that.
When I said "dont go there" it was meant as a joke, like its already been covered...apparently you didnt get that , sorry.
ESAD - If you hate people assuming it, why did you reply with "I didnt like it there", that just makes it seem like you removed it and arent paying for it...I still am confused why you wouldnt just say "hey I paid for it, now go away." But you dont have to tell anyone anything, and instead get pissed when people accuse you.

New Template mods coming together on modified Light Skin:

Not a bad modification to the pre-made vbulletinstyles style. Nice unique colors.

all are nice except for first and last one.
The first one, the top menu is wider than the rest of the design. So, it makes it look a little odd.
The last one, the buttons on menu are too big compared to the rest of the design. And the green on the roll-over text is too bright in my opinion.
But, the other two are really looking nice to me.

Not a bad modification to the pre-made vbulletinstyles style. Nice unique colors. Thanks! I am hoping for Miko to either give me access to the Flash file,
or let me give him my pre edited source files for the header so I can match the colors.
EDIT: I found a way to inject my own images into the flash file without access to the source. :) Now it all matches.:D

I have been really going nuts with all these styles and haven't had time :)
The header is too big on low resolution settings, and when you shrink your
window from full screen. It is like that because my logo images are long.
They extend to the right pretty far. . . I wanted to get my design in there
and it had to be that long. . . I guess I could compromise. . .
If the header for the CGHelp - Original is messed up for you, then
the headers for Light, Aqua, and Mechanic should be as well.
What resolution are you running?
I should also add that the reason for the Aqua green buttons
being that size is because some people have said the other button
images are TOO small!
They also look large because you are running a low resolution.
You should kick it up to a higher one.

I noticed a slight problem with the one I commented on earlier.
It seems that you have one small image missing. It is the one that is the left-most part of the set of images that are above every post and forum catergory. It is the one that is the direct left to the the image that holds the title of the post/forum cat

Could you please upload a screenshot?
I can't find any missing images

Now that I looked at it again, it isn't a missing image, just an image that has a point instead of a rounded corner like the original skin.
It still has no border around that small part, and makes it look a bit out of place.

Ahh, yes. I'll fix that! Thank you!
