Have you customized vB3?

Has anyone customized vB3, from the original? I myself have been running the orginal for a while.. But I've just sent money to Fury for his shoutbox, and I'm buying 1-3 new skins tomarrow. Oh, and is there any solutions you have for vB3 Skins? (I'm looking into vBulletinstyles.com for a 3rd skin)

I've got my vB3 fully customized. But of course, if you're buy vB3 skins, chances are, you're buying the Imagize skin.:p

Yes, my private vB3 forums is customized with a skin and hacks.

I more or less made somthing that took about a month od heavy trial and error. I was somewhat familiar with 2.3.0 and was able to make changes to that easily but 3.0 I was lost.

Before I got this skin complete, I had many many problems getting other pages such as the shoutbox and profiles to stay the 760 width. They all wanted to be 100%. I finally figured it out like I said after a month. Since I still have am not good at graphics I bought a button set and used bits and pieces from styles I bought over the past 2 years. I am happy that I did learn to make a 3.0 asic style and I did change alot on the postbit too such as images for ip and report the posts instead of text. I also added text for member online/offline. Now all I need are members. Any volunteers? Link in my signature.

I customized mine a bit, but I'm still waiting for the Release Candidate until I make any major modifications.

Right now i'm in the middle of everything, as I've closed a forum and haven't started a new forum yet, but am working on a huge site system w/ admin & user areas etc. in PHP. I'm learning a lot in doing it :).

So no, no customization. Even when I did have a forum running beta4..then5 I did no customization, just changed the colours :D

imo buying skins now isnt the totaly best idea. if you get support and the udpated skin it might be worth it more. just due to the fact that vb is stillin beta and no one has seen the new gold sytle yet

I do. :) All my vB2 Skins, Skynet, and the custom skin that is being built will be upgraded for FREE, and provides FREE support. :)

Same here, although i did write a hack so my site was powered through vBulletin.
