I used paypal and once I got an email (probably 2-5 minutes) they emailed me my license info and I was able to download the software.

Did you pay with a check or does it come directly out of an account?

What payment option did you use? If you paid out of your PayPal funds then the sale goes right through. However if you pay using the PayPal "echeck" system. i.e., the order is funded directly from your bank account and not directly from your PayPal balance, the PayPal callback system does not contact the vBulletin server to confirm the order until the funds have been cleared. This may take up to 4 working days before the sale goes through.

Also, check your PayPal email address. This is where the license info will be sent when the order is completed.

If you have further questions, please send them to sales@vbulletin.com.

I'm waiting since 5 days... Too long. A lot of my friends get their Paypal member numbers after 5 or even 7 days. So...

The only way it would take this long is if you used the PayPal 'echeck', check, or wire transfer options. These all rely on outside processing and once approved need to be manually processed.

Send an email to sales@vbulletin.com with all the details of your order so we can look into this for you.

Thanks Steve :) But I have send a mail to James few days ago with all details, and he couldn't find anything about my transaction.

On Paypal.com, I can read :

"Enter Expanded Use Number

When you began enrollment in PayPal's Expanded Use Program, we charged a $1.95 fee to your card.

Please check your credit card statement online or when it arrives in the mail. You will see a $1.95 charge from PayPal. Next to the charge you will see a 4-digit Expanded Use Number.

Please enter your unique Expanded Use Number below:

/.. After you successfully enter your Expanded Use Number, we will give you a $1.95 bonus on the first PayPal payment you send."

The problem is I don't get this "Expanded Use Number" and I never get the "Member Number". I've got an account with my credit card number, my mail, my name and adresse, etc., but I haven't got anything else.

Is it normal ?

Can you do online banking?
In that case, you should be able to see the extended-use code next to the transaction.

Otherwise, contact your credit-card issuer

Oh yes I can, I buy a lot of things on the web, since 2 or 3 years. I have even bought a VB licence 2 years ago :)

But with Paypal I can't buy online because I haven't got my Expanded Number or my Member Number.

I have no idea what that PayPal info means. You'll need to ask them.

It's verification information that paypal require before they let you add/use funds through a credit card (effectively blocking credit card theft)

So it's normal and I should wait a little more ? My credit card is really mind and I use it everyday :D

Again you'll need to ask PayPal. AFAIK if you are set up correctly with them, credit card purchases are almost instantaneous.

Ok, thank you :)

You need to get a statement from whoever issued your credit card (most likely your bank).
If you can do online banking, you should be able to get a list of recent transactions, and the details for the paypal transaction ($1.95) should have the 4-digit code you need to enter.

If you can't do online banking, you need to ask your credit-card issuer (again, most likely your bank) to send you details on the most recent transactions.

This has nothing to do with a vbulletin transaction.
I think you'd have to go through the purchase screens again after confirming your credit-card, so you might as well use 2checkout instead of paypal.
