I will be the first to admit we are slow. Our current data center is aware of it and working on a solution. We can't wait any longer for that solution though, so as our customers already know we are moving to a new facility. We will be now located inside the 3,000 sq ft facility of Rack Shack in Houston Texas. Our servers will all now be Dell servers with Dual Intel Xeon/Pentium 4 2.0 GHz, 1 GB DDR RAM, RAID5 - (3) SCSI 73GB Hard Drives.

This coming Wednesday we will be launching our new website with even better hosting packages and more features.

AnytimeAnywhere, you are all moved. You just need to give your network guy the new IP address I sent you as we do npt do your dns as you only host your forum with us.

The dual Xeons are nice. I moved to Rackshack when those became available early this year. Been very happy with the performance so far. We found 1GB RAM was not enough. 2GB RAM and some apache and mysql tweaking and it becomes a very capable machine.

How do you get Fantastico to work? It has been 48 hours since I received the e-mail from cpanel themes that my hostname resolved, but logging in and clicking the fantastico icon in xcontroller... I still get "Fantastico has not been setup yet. Please come back later and retry".

TheForumHost is beyond slow, more like simply non-responsive.
I had to cancel the recurring bill with the credit company (2Checkout) because no one from TheForumHost would reply to my numerous requests to close my account.

But to be fair, I never had a problem with the service itself.

Once the Hostname resolves, there are some steps you have to do in SSH. There is more to it than just logging in and clicking the icon. There is a step by step set of instructions on their forums: http://www.cpanelthemes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=198
Takes just a couple minutes, and works great.

oh ok, great! It looks to be the same as the install for the lisc'd copy I have. I thought since xcontroller and fantastico was there it was installed.. thanks!

Kyrnel, as you were told many times, you needed to cancel your 2 checkout billing yourself, because at that time they had no way for the account holder to do so. But you insisted we had to do it for you. Which we could not as we had no access to accounts. Since then 2 checkout has improved and account holders can now cancel and refund customers on our own. Also the slowness refered above is not about our customer service but about our old servers we are 90% moved from. Glad you enjoyed the service though while you were with us and hopefully this clears up this misunderstanding.

Ok can use some advice here as I have never been in this situation before..

Member of this forum Pyromaniac is also a customer of ours... For several weeks now he has been asking for lower prices or he's moving as he says the quality of our service is not worth what he pays for it. But last week he decides to order a third account with us... Ok now with our move to the new servers we moved him.. everything was great.. sites loading way faster.. even our customers commented on this... So now tonight he claims to get the apache page and when going to look I find his sites are gone.. Looking at the logs show the same IP as the one in the forums whos online as the one who deleted the accounts. Now he has posted I have 30 min to restore them or he is going to come on here and smear us and has a lawyer standing by the whole nine yards...

sorry I hit reply before finishing.. anyway, I can restore his sites from the old servers but I have other sites still transfering first and he is not willing to wait for these to be completed and for me to finish assisting the other customers. Any advice on what I should do, Also once I am able to give him the restores how do I prove that I did so?
