Users can't see threads

I have users complaining that they can not see the thread links that take them into a particular thead. I have tried everything that I can think of. I told them to clear the cache, upgrade the browser, etc.

Are there any other suggestions?

WHat is their view set to? They can see this in their profile. It will say something like "show threads from the last XX days".
