Hello,

I am seriously considering upgrading from XMB 1.8 to VBulletin, largely in part to how VB simply eats up the competition :D. I've also had problems with XMB support, where they simply respond to any problem with "upgrade to the latest version" which is filled with bugs.

Currently I have over 22,000 posts ( http://www.legionsofazeroth.com ) and won't upgrade unless if there is a conversion. If there is, I'd greatly appreciate your linking to the information.

I did a search on it, but all threads related to it seemed really old, and for version 1.6 and previous.

Thanks,
Sabeth

I believe the XMB importer does indeed work for version 1.8 :)

If anyone here has fully tested that and got it working please let me know. This is very important to me.

There has been at least 20 conversions from XMB 1.8 that I know of and I suspect there has been many more.

if you have a problem importing support is included in your license purchase which means a developer will adjust the importer if needed.

Ok thank you both for the information.

Could you link me to wherever this script would be? I can't seem to find it anywhere...

It's in the Member's Area - once you purchase vBulletin you'll be able to download it. :)
