I currently run a UBB that takes up 10 to 27 Gigs per month of traffic. If I switch to vBulletin, will this increase or decease my bandwidth consumption? What about the server space? My UBB takes about 40-50 Megabytes of space (3000-4000 messages). Thank you.

Your bandwidth shouldnt change much, your still sending out the same information on the same pages.

The database size will be ALOT smaller, about 1 - 1.5meg per thousand messages, depends how big your messages are, so you should see your database size drop to 4 - 6 meg.

Most browsers now support GZIPing of pages on the fly. This means that vBulletin can compress pages to 10-30% of their previous size and then send them to the browser. Therefore, if you enable this option, you will find that bandwidth will significantly decrease.
