Stuck in Step 3, HELP!!

i just uploaded the files to my server. i did as the manual said. after uploading everything, i got in step 3 which says:

my server has MySQL, so i think the database thing isn't a problem. help me out guys, i would appreciate it if i can get my forum for my site up as soon as posible. thanx!

Sounds like the login info you entered in the config.php file is incorrect. I'd suggest double checking that and reuploading that file and retry.

ok, i re-configured the config.php3 and uploaded it. but now i have a new problem:

Attempting to connect...

Connect failed: unexpected error from the database.

Error number: 1044

Error description: Access denied for user: 'seaport@localhost' to database 'cportforum'

Please ensure that the database and server is correctly configured and try again.

Same thing. You need to contact your host to make sure you are connecting correctly. They should be able to give you the proper username, databasename and password.
