After a person registers, the confirmation email they get is missing the last part after upload.
They get:
Here are your login details for the bulletin board at http://breezeaire.com/forum/upload/ .
I looked at the template and it has the /index.php added in after the url above. Is there some other reason for this not working? Maybe to keep them from going there with that link and using the other instead.
One of my tests didn't show any links for them to go to, not sure if that is just a problem with my server end or what.
Thank You
Joe

Opps, i copied the wrong template above, sorry... anyhow, I was just looking at my activateemail, and for some reason, i changed my top line from: "We have now activated your account at the $bbtitle. The forums can be found here: $bburl/index.php" to "Thank you for registering at BikeForums.Com!"
I think i may have had this same problem, maybe somebody else can shed some light on this bug, as for now, you may want to hardcode your URL into the template.

I guess hard code as in the full address without var. I will try that out.
Thanks A lot for your help.
oops... thats strange. I guess the script is using what you mentioned, actvatemail something or another. It isnt even using the template at the very bottom that I thought it was. I just needed to add the /index.php to get it to work, i hope.
Ok I think I have it now, its in the lostpwemail template. That other one was wrong too, I think. For some reason my test registers that I am doing don't always get registered, they are still in the pending email notification, guess thats another problem I can work on later.
well its bed time... I still can't believe i have most of this going in one day, Couldn't have done it without your help!
