chat intergration

After searching the boards long and hard I really could do with some help. I am really wanting to purchase VB but need to be able to intergrate it with a chat room. I have digichat at the moment which is really good and if possible would like to be able to intergrate login/registration and profile/icon as well. I know this is possible but does anyon have a really good working model??
