My site has been down for over 30 hours. I have been unable to access email or the site. The host said they had a catastrophic hardware failure. Don't they normally mirror hard drives so they have instant backups?! Isn't that "Networking 101"?!
Anyway, I need a RELIABLE host. I was paying $25.00 a month for 25 gigs of monthly transfer, 3 gigs of space and MySQL databases.
I would like to keep the prices the same if I can. I have two sites. One needs the mega transfer per month (due to video/audio) the other just needs around 10 gigs a month.
Anyone? Please Email me who you think is the most reliable and can come up with a similar plan.

I'd rather go with something that has been on the market for a while and knows vBulletin's requirements.
Make an inquiry at venturesonline.com if I was you. vBulletin.com is hosted there too.

You are always plugging VO, don't get me wrong, I think they are a good host.. But why do you push them so hard, yet you host vBulletin.nl at RackShack... Why don't you host with VO yourself?

vbulletin.com is also hosted on a dedicated server, what's that have to do with shared service?

vB-host.com; Chaotic Reality is always plugging your company so hard - Yet, I do not see you complain about that?
I have stated my opinion, and Chaotic stated his.
I advice venturesonline.com because I have good experience with them and I have read quality reviews about them.
Because you think you might know a few of my sites, doesn't mean you know all of them. I am hosted with VenturesOnline, and I have more web sites at different hosting providers. The majority in the Netherlands, some in the uk and some in the us.
Besides that, I am a webmaster on more then a few web sites powered by vbulletin - hosted at VenturesOnline - on either shared and semi- and dedicated hosting, as well as virtual private hosting. So far, all without any problems what so ever.
Their support service is quick, their payment system is secure and their hosting goes without flaws and none of the sites had any security issues so far. If I require information about any of their product, I click a link on their site, and it doesn't redirect me through a bunch of URL's, nor do I end up with 404 pages ; unlike your site which confuses me and provides me with incomplete information.
The reason why I do not host vBulletin.nl at venturesonline is totally none of your business, and personally - I do not really care for the tone you take to speak to me.
And the reason why I have suggested to go with VenturesOnline instead of TheForumHost is because if his previous hosting wasn't going so well, moving on to another just-starting-up company, rather then moving on to a well-established-and-experienced company, might not be the wisest choice. (in my personal oppinion)

I'm specifically looking for RELIABILITY #1, SUPPORT #2, Bandwdith #3, Disk Space #4, Cost #5. Those are my order of priority. If it was you, who would YOU choose?

VenturesOnline.com
#1 - See google and find reviews about VO
#2 - They reply almost instantly, and otherwise within a timely matter
#3 - Depends on how much you want to spend, each different package deal has different amounts of traffic/month
#4 - Depends on how much you want to spend, each different package deal has different amounts of space
#5 - Depends on how much traffic/space you want.
My advice, browse some top quality hosting companies and compare what they have and what you need against which price. Then decide which one might be best.

He can't plug himself, so why would he complain if someone has something to say about him? And it's not like I'm going through every single thread in this forum plugging him either; but the original poster had a package that would be similar to something TFH offers, that's why I made the recommendation. *shrugs*

If reliability and support are your #1 go with VentureOnline, you can't go wrong.

I have come to find that enterprisedigital.net has a very good setup.
5 bucks and they provide a great deal.
Just my 2 cents.
