Is this just a license agreement that's in public domain, or did Siteman/vB copy?

Is that illegal? Theres gotta be some law in the U.S. against it.

Unlikely. A license agreement is a license agreement. I'd like to know if it is just a template.. If so.. I want to use it. :D

It, sorry *they* both contain references to "Supply of Goods Act" and of "Sale Goods Act". These are UK specific legistation... Obviously not applicable unless the contract is to be bound by the laws of England and Wales.

I haven't checked recently but don't think Michigan is inside England or Wales

You could always try a Search on Google (http://google.com). :)

I did, but only turned up actual agreements, not templates.. Should I just steal an actual one (like this guy apparently did)?

heh, i just love stealing privacy policies and copyright policies. it seams so ironic to me.

and most of the time they go on about the files and images on the site, they don't mention you can't steal the policies ;)

Well there are only so many ways of saying "all images & information are copyright 2003 me";)

No one's said I couldn't use it, so I'll use it then. I've just removed reference to the UK passed laws, as well as slightly modified some sentences, and remove sentences relating to payed licenses.

I could leave them in, as I live in the UK - w00t! Less work for me;):p

But I don't need a Licence agreement:(
