I'm looking into HelpDesk software. The two I'm considering is Kayako and InverseFlow. Both have about the same features. Kayako requires Zend Optimizer to be installed though.
Do I really want to do that?
How will that affect other PHP like vBulletin?
Does that eliminate me from installing accelerators?
Does anyone have experience with these programs?

Well if you want to know about zend optimizer i can help you some. Its a good optimizer. It helps some. No it does not take the place of an accelerator by any means. Infact it keeps you from being able to use most or in the end slows them down some if they can work with it.
