That was just a vicious rumor spread to get our hopes up.

Its a PR strategy. There *MUST* be a minimum of 3 rumored dates before a product can be released. These are unofficial of course.

I have been trying to point out over and over again that it was not an official release date!

It sounds like we may have a public beta at least, in two weeks by the sound of James announcement. ;)

I also know that the code is coming together quite nicely!
