I'm sorry I seem to be lost, I wasn't visiting this site for a while. Seems to me that a lot of people have the V2.0 already. So I figured it's out.
Where can I download the new upgrade?
Thanks

Its still in private beta, only the development team, and a few moderators have installed v2.
It should be released to everyone else in a week or two, however there has not been an official announcement from jelsoft / vB, so thats just a guess...

Can't we have a page off vbulletin.com which is regularly updated with progress and announcements? I don't get to visit the forum very often so don't have time to trawl through threads some of which are 100's of replies long just to find out the current situation.
How hard would it be just to put up a page saying that it had gone to private beta, it look me a long time to find this out yesterday and that was only because someone mentioned it in a reply.

I totally agree. It would save lots of time and extra posts by people asking what's going on, and what's the progress. It takes all of 45 seconds to crank out a simple status page and link to it. I'm sure the fine folks making this software are staying quite busy fixing things and tweaking stuff. But it would prove very handy for them and us to have a status page (not in the forums) where we could all read the progress of release:) Maybe the members section or on the opening page to the site perhaps?

I like that idea, and would think that they could even use thier forum-wide announcements for that.
Maybe "Latest VB 2.0 info (01/31/01)" could be the title with the date of the latest info. It could be something that is updated every few days, Or whenever they have something to say. But it would be in every forum... I believe that is why they came up with that feature...
