The feature is the following:
When you post a topic in a subforum. The topic is only listed on that subforum. This will stop many ppl from posting their topics in the corrospondent subforum. Instead they will most likely post their topics in the main forum. So, to make an incentive for ppl to post in the right place, and at the same time keep the same expousre for their posts, why not list the topics in the subforum in BOTH the SUBFORUM and also the MAIN FORUM?
What do you think?

I have already suggested this idea:

I think its a MAJOR concept. It will certainly not be implemented now, but will probably be in a future release i hope.
It would be even better if we could make forums groups, with a mother forum, and childs forums. Child messages would be also displayed in mother forums.
I think this feature would allow us to kill a problem we always faced with no solutions: having multiple precise forums that won't be left alone and empty because they'll make the content of a common mother forum. The reciprocal sharing between mother /child forums is the strength of the concept that will satisfy a larger majority of user depending if they want to see lots of post on a generic topic or specific posts on a more targereted perspective.

personally i think it completly defauts the point of the sub-forum but i guess it could be implemented. It would require a thread-->forum extra relation table and is bound to add to the number of queries.

Yup :) , when someone votes the thread doesn't go to the top, so the only way is to reply,,
To the developers, Is there any chance to add this feature to Beta 2 or the Final version of version 2?
I'm certain it doesn't need that much work as I was playing with the code and I did it but reversly :) meaining if I go to a subforum, the threads of the main forum shows in the subforum ,, interesting :)

Not even a hack freddie?
even though I promised myself not to change the code , to make it easy to upgrade later,, but this feature is very important to me,, and I think its the only hack I would add ,,

Hacking it in is always possible...But vb2.0 is really allready supplied with all these neat features. So probably most suggestions would be taken into concidering for the next version
