Some users are having a problem updating their options via the usercp....such as turning PMs on. When they click the save button it redirects like it saves, but the settings don't change.

I haven't heard of any similar reports. Find out what browsers and ISPs they are using. Also ask if they are using anything that blocks javascript (browser settings, firewalls, ad-blockers, etc.)

Well it happens to me too. When I want to change from Linear to Hybrid, it won't stay, it always goes back. I'm going to try it on IE, as I am using Opera 7 now, so I'll see if that changes anything.

UPDATE: Nope. IE does the same thing. I don't have any javascript blockers, or ad-blockers. I'm using Comcast and the settings update via the AdminCP but not using the UserCP Options. Also, the new settings show up on the AdminCP as if they were changed.

I still can't duplicate this, either on my test forum or here. Do you have the same problem on these forums?

Hmm..yeah I do...do you know what might be the problem? It changes the option, but doesn't show it.

The only thing I could reproduce this with was hybrid mode. Everything else "stuck".

Yeah, that is the one I was doing. But one of my members can't change the PM On/Off setting.

Ok, I've fixed the hybrid issue.
But I can't reproduce the PM on/off thing -- can you, or is it just this one member? If it's just this one user, ask he/she to go to the options page and hard refresh (ctrl+f5). Does it change then?

I'm getting the same issue both on my test site (fresh install), and the public site (upgrade). Both on the same server .

No one can change the Additonal information in their profile field. If you do make a change it erases the Additonal information.
This was happening before any template changes were made.
I can make changes on this site if that helps.
