admin functions

I got to thinking about some things (yes scary I know). With version 1.1.5 the admin functions (move thread, delete threat, etc. and view IP) are always shown on all posts and threads. Well, what's the point of showing all that stuff if only a few people actually have access to those features? So for the normal users who don't have moderator privileges, I don't really see the point in displaying the logged IP link and all the admin thread links. Is there any way to have them not show up for users who don't have access to that stuff?

I'd love this too - I think someone said they are working on a Hack for it and hopefully we'll see it in vb2.1?
