Creating a new FAQ

Okay I was trying to create a FAQ that had my board rules listed in it. Well now it's not showing up in the FAQ Manager anywhere. Now when I try to recreate it I get the following error. Could someone please tell me how to fix this please.

There is already a FAQ Item named '[ARG:2 UNDEFINED]'. You may not create duplicate names.

The second thing is a bit of a bug which I've now fixed, but I can't reproduce the first one.

Do you remember the settings that you used when you created the FAQ entry the first time?

Um......I called it Board Rules. I didn't assign it to any parent. Left all the other settings the same.

Try making it again -- you'll need to change the name slightly. Make sure "vBulletin default" is no, though. Can you see it this time?

Nope I am still getting that error. Is there a way to revert the FAQ's or something to make them like it was when I first installed or something so I could try again. No matter what I do I get that error.

What are you entering for the varname? That's what you need to change to prevent that error.

Right. That needs to be unique for each FAQ item. Change that to something different and try to resubmit it.

So I could change it to new_faq_item_1 or something like that, and it will work?

You can name it essentially whatever you want, but just follow the format -- use _ instead of a space.

The "new_faq_item" thing is just an example. Since this is a faq entry for board rules, I'd try calling it board_rules.

Is FAQ editing only a V3 feature? Can I update/modify it in V2?
Better question - Should I be migrating to v3 by now?

You can edit the FAQ templates in vB2.
