OK, here is how I will upgrade..... need help for what I plan to do please

here is what I plan to do.

1) Install a "developpement" 2.0 closed non public version of 2.0 while leaving 1.1.5 running public.

2) Take all the time I need on 2.0 developpment install to set all my template. This will take lots of time since I have to translate everything

3) Once template are done: Upgrade 1.1.5 to 2.0

4) Set all the options on upgraded 2.0

5) Import all my template work from 2.0 developpment to 2.0 production

Where I will need help (step by step welcome) is to replace ALL the templates from 2.0 developpment to 2.0 prododuction. I guess this can be done by a SSH database dump of table ?

6) Earease 2.0 developpment and reopen 2.0 production.

With Version 2.0, you can download and upload template sets. All you have to do is click and save :).

that is EXACTLY how I upgraded mine. Be sure to let your moderators (if you have any) have access to the test board because it gives them the opportunity to get used to the new features. This way, when you go public, they'll be able to help with questions.
