Where are they getting this error? What browsers are they using? What browser string are they sending to the server (some browsers like Firebird and Opera allow you to override the default)?

Two people have mentioned the error to me.
One of them said:
I got this error when using quick reply for this thread.
I also got it when using the regular reply.
And the other said:
I get this whenever I post, change thread, or change forum. it's aggrvating, and I don't want to stop posting here because of this glitch, but it's still really annoying.
I've asked what browsers and such they are using, I'm waiting for their answers.

Here's what one of them said:
I get the error whenever I post something. I'm using IE6 on Win2k. And I'm not entirely sure what they mean by browser string, but if you tell me what it is, I can find it for you.

I guess it is an error with the WYSIWYG Editor for some reason I can't recreate it but then I can't use that editor either. I'll have one of the Dev's look at it.

We need them to double click on the javascript error and either take a screenshot of the message or type it in a message to you.

Sounds like something from the Element's hack in vB2 - Did you ever install it?

I don't think so, it doesn't ring a bell. I didn't install very many hacks at all.
But I overwrote all of my VB2 files anyway, would it even matter?

Maybe some of your templates were not over-written because you did not revert them?

The vB2 templates should be stuck in unused styles on upgrading so they aren't used.

You've edited your postbit template and removed a vital part of the scrolling call.
postbit should look like this at the start
<tr title="Post $post[postid]">
<td class="thead" width="175" align="center"$scrolltothis>
The $scrolltothis is missing and causing the problems.
