Assigning a user-group for banned users with a separate title (which should be in effect while the user is banned?) fails to set the title when a user is banned and moved to that group. The changed forum-permissions is set, but the user's original title is still kept.

I can't duplicate this problem in my ugraded vB3 test forum. Was this a fresh install or an upgrade?

It was an upgrade of a newly installed 2.3.0 test-board. Two users, and two posts. Running on PHP4.3.2 and MySQL4.0.13. Both users were made in the 2.3.0. A member still retains its title of "Junior member" if banned via the AdminCP and placed into a banned-group that has a special title. As I understand it, that's not how it should be.

I registered a new user, activated it and banned it (1 day) and it too retained its current title (Registered user). Same happens if the ban is permanent.

Hmm, any chance the database is to blame? Maybe the upgrade failed to make some changes?

Okay. This isn't critical (at least not 'til it goes Gold), but I hope a Dev can look into it at some point. :)

Fixed (hence the forum). There's a decent amount of code changes though, so I can't post the fix.
