I get this error when deleting a PM:
Invalid Private Message specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster (webmaster@gamestart.co.uk)
Edit - The messages are deleted, but I did not get a confirmation or anything of it, just an error.

I don't have this problem on my fresh vB3 beta 3 forums. Please give us more information about the problem. Is this an upgraded forum or fresh install? Which delete are you using (in the PM listing or in the PM itself)? etc.

This error has existed for a long time but hasn't been tracked down.

I upgraded from 2.3.0.
I highlighted all of the PM's, then clicked delete. I then got the error but the messages were actually deleted.

I have fresh install. I think it may be when the selected message is from a deleted user.

I'll check this now thanks for the suggestion.

I got it. When you click "go" after selecting "delete".:)
edit - onChange submits, and go submits again, deleting that ID twice?
my thought anyway..

Yup. The chooser uses 'onChange', so if you're clicking Go, it's being double processed.
I'd suggest to remove the onchange from it.
Reasons:
- it could easily happen, that you're deleting your PMs accidently by choosing the wrong option
- its a bit confusing, since most people should be used to confirming deletion of posts (e. g. by clicking 'Go' after they selected 'delete')

Shouldn't it confirm PM delete? Would be better I think, and only like 5 lines of code...
