I had Cihost and your opinion is correct they suck plus they are expensive. I use http://www.hostrocket.com/ and I am very happy with them. Fast connection and all the features you need for a Vbportal, Vbulletin and Photopost site. I signed up for prepaid 2 years and the price went down to 10 bucks a month for 750 MB.

Try ViperHost. For $20/mo. I get reseller ablility, along with 1GB Webspace, 15-20GB transfer (I cant remember the actual amount) PHP4, mySQL, CGI Support, and a lot of other great features. The majority of VH customers use vBulletin. Plus it has CPanel included, so it is a great place to go for vBulletin hosting.

I'm going to throw out the host I'm at here.

These guys have great prices, but I can't say their website skills are that great :)

For $29.95 you get:
5 GB Space
50 GB Transfer
And a bunch of other stuff

How long have you been with this outfit? Have you had the need for any support/help and your experiences if any? Any other tidbits about them would be useful.

I went and looked over the offered plans at the link you provided and they do look pretty good to me (minimal experience with a host since Spaceports.com a few years back). My question now is how long have you been with this outfit? Have you had the need for any support/help and your experiences if any? Any other tidbits about them would be useful.

Is it really easy to setup Vbulletin with this host? I am with Yahoo right now( stupid mistake ) and I'm looking for a new host. I really like what they are advertising, but I want to know your personal opinion.

Oh and is the admin control panel, ( not vbulletin's ) easy to get around? and work with?

I have had several accounts with Hostrocket in the past, so my comments relate only to my experience with them.
Good speed on the servers I had accounts on. By request, they would move you to a different server if the one you ar on got overloaded. Reliability was good. Network was good.
Downside... suspending accounts was frequent when forums got busy. Nothing like waking up to an "Account Suspended" page instead of your forums.
I was told by support that they had a limit of either 20 or 30 mysql connections... reach that, they shut you off. Also, the refund policy... be familiar with it if you pay a year in advance.

If you are considering them, check out their Forums for a bit. Get the feel of the place.

that sounds to me like you are saying they overload their servers regularly and only the one or two people that have any idea asbout this that ask get moved????

not so hot if you ask me....
