2.0 thread rating

I've seen the 'rate this thread' (1-5) drop down at the bottom of the demo 2.0 forums... (vbulletin.org) but thats all i've seen about rating.

what does it do?
where can you view ratings?
does it impact any viewing of threads? (sort by rating?)

just wondering.

If 5 people or more have rated the thread then the rating will appear in forumdisplay - see here for an example:

You can sort by rating but the default is still date. To sort by any other column just click the column header.

Actualy, you can set the min number of votes before the ratings show in the thread, i think the beta is set to 2 votes.

Also, if you put your mouse over the starts, you will see the alt tag, it tells how many votes have been cast, and the advrage vote.
