Maybe he has a good reason, an assumption or just suspencts they don't have a legal site.

Yesterday I found a site that was missing the copyrights notice. Maybe they paid to have it removed, but I had my doubts. Therefor I reported them. If they have paid for it, nothing .. no harm done.

I have no issue with giving a kick in the nuts to owners of illegal forums! But, I'm still wondering how to tell the difference between a legal and an illegal forum, so that I can start reporting them too!

Do you guys think you can be okay with that?!

If you have a problem with that, please let me know and I will stop wondering! Cause I sure don't want to piss anyone off! That would be really rude of me!

Go to a lot of game forums that look small..

Game forums tend to be run by kids (like me) who generally can't pay for vB so they pirate it. (I did pay for it though ;))..

And a lot of forums that are small are illegal (though it's not to say all of them are). People tend to use a free solution until they know their site will take off, before opting into spending the money first. So a small site running an expensive board can be a rarity.

bloody hell by that reasoning i must be a huge pirate then mine is miniscule........

the way i see it if you really want to then report boards you suspect as it does no harm really if you have a vallid license, if not then tough..

as for how do you know simple answer is you dont unless you get told by the owner of the site, as you can pay for the copyright removal...
