I've gotten that error when the script can't find the mySQL server. :)

Can you restart mysqld?

If so, I would try that myself if this was a dedicated server.

The installationw as working fine. i got past the last step.But then I got this error. Yes, I am working on a dedicated server, but how do i restart mysqld?

Okay,can someone translate all that stuff at the mysql website into palin simple english for me. All that documentation is hurting my head.

James, please help clear this up. I've already signed up for an install, but youi guys havent really done anything yet. Please help me get the board up and running ASAP.
