Within the last two or three weeks the images, buttons, and icons on all of the vBulletin sites I visit started to not load, randomly. If I right click show picture the icons load just fine.
Here's a few screen shots to show you what I'm talking about.

What setting on my computer do I need to change to fix this? I'm using IE 6.0 with Win XP.

I'm having the same problem; not only on vB.com though. It started happening since I reinstalled IE.
When I right-click and do show-picture they come up. Dunno why it happens though.

Thanks for the replies and links. After following the link freddie gave I set IE6 security settings to low and no change. This gremlin sure is annoying, and if I ever find a cure I'll post a reply to this thread. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. I run a vbulletin site as well as visit about 6 other large vbulletin sites. All of them have random boken images and it's REALLY annoying. The only computer I have that does not exhibit this problem is my OS X based mac running Safari as a browser. It's definitely some sort of compatibility issue between IE and the vbulletin code. The only MAJOR site I see which exhibits the same issues is ebay.com. Could someone from vbulletin please let us know if this is an issue being investigated?

it's really no vbulletin problem.
it's a browser related thing, as it appear on other boardsoftwar and also normal html sites, too.
so nothing jelsoft can solve

As has been stated, it is an issue within Internet Explorer. It happens to certain configurations that have Internet Explorer 6 SP1 installed but not all.
The easiest workaround that I found is to make sure your Internet Cache is set to a decent amount say about 10% of your drive and to regularly empty it manually.
The other option is to switch to Mozilla.

It doesn't really bother me. If I desperately need an image I just right-click on it, and use 'View Image'.

This registry edit fixed the problem for me:
