Not sure if this is the right place or not, but do you recommend having a /forums directory instead of a forums.site.com? The reason I'm asking is because I'm worried that the sub directory won't be indexed properly by google?

Why do you think a sub directory wouldn't be indexed? :confused;

It does sound like a dumb question, but before I was indexed by google very well, w/o a subforum. But having a subforum would be nice, what do you recommend for best indexing?

I honestly don't think it makes any difference. Have you asked the folks at Google?

Code what? AFAIK there is no problem. :confused:

Besides, you don't want me coding. That's like asking Mike Tyson to watch your girlfriend for you. :eek:

Code an option (many people have asked on vb.org for months), that every subforum is located in a new folder with the same id. A really good thing, woul be to, have as an option, a folder for every user with his username, so he could upload files or do whatever. Can you?!

Can you?!Sorry but I don't understand this. vB does not use 'folders' for forums and subforums. I suggest you ask over at vbulletin.org.

I think he is talking about the forum archive stuff for spiders.

I've asked it. Nobody know. I know vB does not uses it, I suggest it could give it as an option. It would really help attracting new members.

I know only two archives, but non of them does not creates new folders...

Im unsure of what you are asking about the creation of new folders, too. But I will say that vb3 does have a god archive feature which will allow google to index your forums and subforums.
