Okay. Here is what you have to do:

1. Find a good host that provides the services that you need. There are many mentioned in the Web Hosting forum on this site. Their machines do not have to be in the UK for you to use them so find one that fits your needs an budget. You need to have the following tools on your account:
Email
FTP
SSH (shell access)
PHP
MySQL
Webserver

2. Purchase a domain name either through the hosting provider or a registrar like www.godaddy.com or www.enom.com.

3. Update your domain name's records to point to your hosting provider. The hosting provider will provide that for you. If you purchase a domain through the hosting provider, they will set it up for you.

4. Purchase vBulletin. You can then either install it yourself using the steps outlines in the vBulletin User's Guide (http://www.vbulletin.com/manual) or purchase installation from us and one of our technicians will have it installed and running within 48 hours and often times much less.

If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask.

After going through the process above and having one of your techs set this up how technically savy do you need to be to keep it up and running?

If I have someone design a website will your technician then integrate it (the vbulletin forum) to the desired placement within the site?

Thanks

It depends on what you want to do. If it's set the way you want it, then it basically runs itself. Almost everything ccan be done via the web-based Admin CP.

Also our installation services is for the default forum. We do not provide any customization services.
