The second one is better, though it is still very "colorful". How about adding some more light beige or light ivory?

The background could be a little lighter and fainter which will make people focus on the forum more. (the darker a design, the more it attracts the eye).

Okay...fixed it a bit. Does it still need to be lighter?

Oh and thanks about the paw prints. :) All that you see were done in photoshop except the faq smiley (my friend did that with jasc)

Other then that, they both look great, all the colors work dandy together, the one thing i would change is the white text on the light brown. in link #2. makes the forum links hard to read.

It's split right down the middle though. I like the second much better, but there are others who really adore the first. >.<

The decision now though is which one to choose right now?

Btw thanks for the tip about the white. Is it a bit better now? (SHIFT reload it)

They both look great, the second ones links (white) are a little hard to read on the light tan color. I would have to vote for the first one, though both are nice.

I like the colors they are soo beatiful. But too much red is hurting my eyes. Maybe if you put some green grass or a green tree to contrast with the orange it will make my eyes feel a lot better. It's just a suggestion.

Both are good, but they have different por's and con's

1: Nice contrast, but some might not like the background
2: Less contrast, but a nice balanced color scheme.
