No mothers day isnt international - well its not on the same date everywhere.
Here in Australia we dont have it until the first (or is it the second ?) Sunday in May.

As for a gift, get her a copy of vb !

Mother's Day is in May here in the States.
Father's Day is in June....

A dozen white long stem roses is nice :)
