What he said...

I only lasted til the middle of my freshman year, then I got expelled because they were afraid of me (I guess I was too smart... tested in at the 12th grade level when I was in 6th)... Then I went for a GED a year and a half later (I had to wait because I wasn't old enough). Now, I'm in line for an ACT exam, and I'm going to apply to a university close to home.

Not only does this confuse me on the main level (what kind of army thing?? ;) )

but

are you aware of the mission statement for the Army? I've followed your statements on the other threads in this forum....I'm not sure this is the best career choice for you or the rest of the nation. :D

Law, then Politics. I once ran for the Arizona State Senate as a Libertarian.

airforce, army, marines, navy, etc.

yeah, that's why i decided not to go in the army. I hate the whole pride / nationalism thing, and that's sort of a requirement.

Wow... Steve... that's amazing! I had no idea :)

I'm rather right in the aspect, almost a Libertarian, except here in Massachusetts they wanted to eliminate state income tax which I think would have been a disaster. So we have Romney now.

I saw myself as a CS major... always really did.

1. Oceanography
2. Veterinarian
3. Motorcycle Repair
4. Cop

Those were mines, though Oceanography was probably what made me busy throughout my Junior and senior years.

And what do i do now? Far from working in with Dolphins and whales and fish. I changed over to computer animation and web page production in college, and I work in the game industry. Talk about a 180

1: Computers
2: Music
3: Journalism (of some sort)

Started to go to school for Computer Science - and had to drop out because of personal/money reasons. And then when I got everything back together, I was doing both 1 & 2. Computer stuff during the day (owned my own web design company (well since I was 16 actually), and at night, I was singing/playing in a very popular local band.

What am I doing now? Computers -- web design, hosting, support work.

I know more about computers, etc than I could ever learn in college. Real world knowledge/experience is a million times better than any college book can give you... and it saves you 20+ grand. All a degree is a piece of paper that says you "know" what you're talking about. But I know a hellovalot more than a lot of ppl that spend 20 grand on their piece of paper (aka a degree).
